À propos

Nine photo based window murals celebrate community. Building on the success of previous years, the Town of Oakville has once again taken the initiative to invite a fresh cohort of artists to showcase their photographic murals in neighbourhood community and cultural centres. This year's theme of "Connextions" resonates with the current times, as it urges us to reconnect and strengthen our community bonds.

Through this exhibition, the town aims to foster a sense of community spirit and elevate the public realm. Each recreation and culture facility features a striking artwork prominently displayed on a window, allowing for easy outdoor viewing.

The artist offers about her work:

A visual celebration of the power of diversity and the importance of inclusivity. This work serves as a reminder that our differences are what make us unique and beautiful, and that we should embrace and celebrate them. Through this series, I hope to inspire a sense of unity, acceptance, and love within the local community and beyond.
