À propos

Recently, the local sewing community has spent countless hours making masks, caps and gowns for donations; this display aims to shed light on the little known history of Guelph’s sewing machine industry.

Drop by the Main Library to view a late 1800s sewing machine from Guelph. Learn more about The Raymond Sewing Machine Company, which operated in Guelph from 1862 to 1922, and its strong community connections.

This is a month long Culture Days exhibit from September 25 to October 25 within the Main Library.
