Celebrate Shuswap brings together the live music community, showing resilience and celebrating the power of music.
In March 2020, when the pandemic was declared, it resulted in basically all of the pieces of the music industry as we knew it, coming to an abrupt halt. In May 2020, a small group of forward-thinking, music-minded people from the Shuswap banded together and came up with an initiative to address the issue. Celebrate Shuswap was created to produce a video documentary that tells the story of the music industry featuring the musicians, community halls, businesses, organizations and people who are part of this amazing group in our region of British Columbia.
