Love lake life? Then use chalk to share your love with the world! Join WAVE Interlake Studio Tour artists from 2 'til 4 pm on Gimli's Seawall Gallery to share your experiences, joys, and life along the shores and in the waters of Lake Winnipeg. We'll supply the chalk; you supply the fun! What will you draw--a fishfly? a pier? your favourite beach towel? or perhaps the Viking Statue in Van Gogh style! Can't draw? Well then, use your fanciest chalk writing to record a word that best describes your lake experiences such as cool, wet, soothing, laughter! The sky--or the water--is the limit!

The WAVE Interlake Artists of Manitoba
WAVE Artists host an open studio art tour twice yearly on the second weekend in June and on the Labour Day weekend. Studios are open to the public from 10 til 6 on the Saturday and Sunday of these weekends. The tour is free and self-guided. The WAVE Studio Tour is a project of WINNBAC, a non-profit arts & culture cooperative in the Interlake. In addition, WAVE artists are featured at shows and events throughout the year, promote growth and development of members through workshops and activities, and participate in community-based events that promote arts and culture.
