À propos
Enjoy the sights of a beautiful Fall in the countryside of St. Joseph island while driving on a self guided tour of farms, small businesses, artists and artisans. “Locally Made” is the purpose for the tour. Demonstrations are planned at some locations.
Because my studio is located in the lower part of our home, the pandemic made it unsafe as a venue for people to visit. Therefore, the tour has been held in the outdoors, outside my studio ever since. I show and sell different textile works and a selection of uniquely hand dyed mohair socks. Visitors may try their hands at weaving on a small loom or spinning some yarn on a spinning wheel. For payment I accept cash, credit, debit and e transfer.
My dog Pumpkin may occasionally be outside with me. Although a big dog, she is friendly and docile. Let me know if afraid of dogs, I will have her stay indoor.
