Huntsville is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg. We thank all indigenous people for their wise good ways of being that have kept this place healthy and well since the beginning. We commit to continue to uphold the wellness of all in our community.

Huntsville has participated in national Culture Days events since 2011. We are proud to again partner and collaborate with local artists and practitioners who originate from all points of the compass to share Huntsville's particular culture to residents and visitors from around the globe, may aligned with the Culture Days 2019 theme of "Creativity, the Arts, and Well-being."

Join elected officials, dignitaries and everyone who wants to celebrate culture at the opening flag raising of Culture Days 2019 in Huntsville at noon on Friday.

We are inclusive, creative and collaborative; courageous and determined. We are a community rich in local talent in visual and performing artists, both emerging and established. There is always something cultural happening in Huntsville, with free year-round art exhibits and tours, and many events of all types -- some of them whacky -- in all seasons.
