À propos
Experience the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra at work during an open dress rehearsal on Friday, October 2. This daytime event offers a unique opportunity to experience the rehearsal process and hear concert repertoire as the orchestra and conductor make final preparations for the season launching performance that night. Please note that this is a working rehearsal, not a concert, and audience members are asked to remain quiet and limit movement, so musicians can focus on their work. Audio/video recording and flash photography are prohibited. A wonderful introduction to live orchestral music!
While not mandatory, a donation at the door will be greatly appreciated.

Okanagan Symphony Orchestra
A cornerstone of cultural life in the Okanagan Valley since 1959, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra (OSO) has enriched the lives of thousands and brought the power, beauty, and emotion of live orchestral music to our communities through our performances and programs. Renowned for both versatility and artistry, the OSO performs a wide range of repertoire— from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary works. Under the leadership of our new music director, Julian Pellicano (just the sixth in our 65-year history), we eagerly anticipate the future and all we can achieve for arts and culture in the Okanagan. Beyond our public concerts, the OSO is deeply committed to education and community engagement. We offer meaningful music and learning experiences for preschoolers and their families, students and schools, and young musicians through our Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestra (OSYO).
