The Brantford School of Instrumental Music invites you to a full day of activities for families, including:
- Instrument Gallery: see string, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments up close and personal!
- Music Scavenger Hunt: search for clues to answer musical questions-a prize for all correct answer sheets!
- Musical Colouring: colour with us or take home your own set of instrument sheets to colour!

Brantford School of Instrumental Music
The Brantford School of Instrumental Music (BSIM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality musical training to its members of all ages. Originally organized in 1931 as the Brantford Boys' Band, the BSIM has assisted hundreds of men and women to "Discover their musical side!"
Today, the BSIM offers progressive musical instruction in a multi-aged group setting. This is perfect for family/friends to learn together! As well, the BSIM is able to loan various instruments (upon availability) to registered students, which further enables a budding musician.
As students' musical abilities improve, they will have an opportunity to play in the Bell City Band. From there, they could eventually play in the Brantford Memorial Concert Band or the Brantford Community Symphony Orchestra.
