The beauty of Henna, often referred to as Mehndi, can be experienced by kids and adults alike. This multicultural art form has been practiced In India, Pakistan, areas of the Middle East and parts of Africa for hundreds of years. The initial practice of applying mehndi in ancient times began in order to protect the couple and keep them healthy. Mehndi is used for the celebration of special occasions like Indian weddings, holidays, birthdays and medicinal uses.
