À propos

A detailed yet participatory session for kids of all ages, this program is a great introduction to the world of percussion. Our workshop leader, a classically-trained percussionist, will take you on a tour of the variety of percussion instruments, covering topics such as technique, mallets, history and musicality. During the session, participants get a chance to try out these instruments, techniques and begin their percussion journey!

Please note that due to the instruments on display, this workshop can get very loud and potentially overwhelming for small children and those who may have sensitivities to sound or other sensory concerns. We encourage families to be aware of the situation and to bring headphones if they think they may be required.

Organisateur

Bandology

Bandology was willed into being by people who understand the multiple life-long benefits that music provides. United by common goals while participating in a high school music parent association, the co-founders were inspired to go beyond the classroom and into the community to help spread the love of music.

Bandology's mission statement: More music for more kids via education, collaboration and community.
