À propos
Join us on October 7th, 2023, as we celebrate Nigeria Day in Milton, a proclamation made by Major Gordon Krantz in 2020. NAIJA FEST is a vital part of our virtual Art mentorship program for children, which was initiated during the COVID-19 lockdown. Beginning with an online Exhibition, the proceeds from sales were dedicated to supporting vulnerable members of our society.
At NAIJA FEST, we're committed to nurturing creativity in our children, providing a platform for them to express their talents in various forms of art such as multimedia, drawing, painting, sculpture, spoken word, and poetry. This marks our 3rd Edition, and this year's theme, *Celebration Naija Style*, pays homage to our vibrant social lifestyle and rich cultural traditions, often reflected in our flamboyant attire.
Our Art mentoring classes serve multiple purposes:
- Educate and empower the children of the Milton Community
- Preserve our invaluable cultural heritage
- Foster and promote our young Canadian Artists by connecting them with seasoned Art Mentors
- Strengthen community relationships through enhanced collaboration.
Join us for a day of artistic celebration and empowerment at NAIJA FEST!
