“The Power of One” exhibit is part of the Abraham Global Peace Initiative’s Museum for Human Rights collection. This thought-provoking exhibit is meant to inspire, and empower students around the world to stand up, speak out, and most importantly, take action to make the world a better place. “The Power of One” exhibit features many notable figures, like Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Anne Frank, Helen Keller, Mother Teresa, and Malala Yousafzai – among others – who have each contributed to making the world a better, safer, and more inclusive place all citizens no matter their race or religion, gender, creed, or colour.

This exhibit invites its audience to consider five key questions:

1. What would you do if you were in the same situation?

2. What choices would you make?

3. Would you risk your life to save others?

4. Would you speak out?

5. How can you help change the world for the better today?

The Abraham Global Peace Initiative

The Abraham Global Peace Initiative (AGPI) is an internationally recognized organization comprised of global leaders, parliamentarians, senior police officials, and educational stakeholders, dedicated to giving a voice to humanity. Having worked with the Canadian Permanent Mission to the United Nations and the Rt. Hon. Bob Rae, our mission and mandate is to assist, encourage and promote, whether on its own or in conjunction with others, the advancement of human knowledge and understanding through the study of and research into international human rights, fundamental freedoms, democracy, global peace and civil society in Canada, Israel and around the world. As an organization, we travel the world, working with schools, politicians and police services to help craft, educate and amplify human rights and fundamental freedoms for all.
