À propos
This will be a journey into the ancestors knowledge from the Secwepemc territory. This knowledge created stories that resonate to this very day. The stories speak of the land, the laws, the lessons and connectivity. Kenthen will utilize 20+ years of performing the stories along side his mentor Billy Cohen from UBC and the Sylix Nation to create a new story. This story will be based upon the teachings of the ancestors, the teachings of Coyote and his fellow animal people. This story will examine our interconnectivity as humans to the land. Plus it will have some humor. We hope this story will leave you wishing to walk in a kinder and gentler way as you experience the knowledge of the ancestors.
PLEASE NOTE: This event will be outdoors, bring a lawn chair, wear weather appropriate clothing and take note of the time change.

A teacher by trade I am looking to further the knowledge of my ancestors in a good and kind way. This event is a extension of my teaching profession that looks to find connectivity with us as humans to the land to the teachings. It also looks to utilize the teachings of the original or First Nations of the land to bring teachings that are as important to today as when they were first spoken.
