The Hornepayne Public Library, in collaboration with the Hornepayne Early ON Child and Family Centre, are inviting families to create upcycled wall art. Reusing materials in a different way are beneficial in several ways:

* Encouraging the reuse a of variety of materials in new and different forms fosters

creativity;

* Promoting the importance of recycling and resource conservation;

* Working collaboratively in an open-ended art project, which allows for all artist abilities;

* Raising awareness about the consequences of our actions on the environment;

* Extending the life of materials;

* Fostering a love for our community, through the teamwork of creating the upcycled wall

art.
