North Thornhill Pleasant Ridge Seniors Club shall organize two major events in North Thornhill Community Centre on September 21, and September 25 respectively.

Celebrate Vaughan Culture Days and Demonstrate the Elder Wellness & Vitality in North Thornhill Community. Performances range from T'ai Chi, fitness Qigong Baduanjin, T'ai Chi Fan to a variety of Chinese ethnic folk dances and songs.

The North Thornhill Pleasant Ridge Seniers Club (NTPRSC)

The North Thornhill Pleasant Ridge Seniors Club is a community-based Chinese Seniors Club with its mission to provide a variety of program activities to Chinese seniors in the Community. It is noted for its project called “The Elder Wellness & Vitality Initiative”, a project funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program and Supported for years by City of Vaughan, Recreation and Culture Department. Our vision is to provide a social participation platform for Chinese seniors, promote volunteerism among seniors and other generations, and most of all, engage Chinese seniors in the community through the mentoring of others.
