We invite you to wear orange and join us as we gather in support of Reconciliation efforts. The event will be hosted at Good Neighbors Food Centre (GNFC) starting at 9:30am on Monday, September 30, 2024.

We are partnering with Good Neighbors Food Centre (GNFC) to present this event. GNFC serves many clients from the surrounding communities of Beardy's & Okemasis and One Arrow First Nations. As such, they have cultivated close connections with members of those communities. GNFC will be taking the lead on securing an Elder to give greetings and blessings and coordinating with volunteers to make bannock.

The Town of Rosthern is a vibrant and growing community, and we are proud to offer a

variety of recreation and cultural opportunities!

With more than 1000 client visits every month, Good Neighbors Food Centre provides emergency food aid each week to a 50km catchment area surrounding Rosthern. Additional programming includes community gardens, community meals, collective kitchens, market days, student-senior partnerships, fresh food drives, increased fresh food recovery, and more. Together we WILL change lives by building a food-secure community!
