À propos

Celebrate your love for the lake, the sand, and the spirit of Gimli during Culture Days with "Chalk the Pier: Why We Love the Beach." This family-friendly, all-ages event invites participants to grab a piece of chalk and let their creativity flow on the wide, welcoming pier at Gimli Harbour.

Set against the backdrop of the stunning Gimli Seawall Gallery—featuring over 25 murals that beautifully capture the region’s rich history, wildlife, and scenery—you’ll add your own mark to this vibrant shoreline. Whether it’s a drawing, a message, or a memory, share what makes the Beach special to you.

With the soft breeze from Lake Winnipeg and the world-renowned Gimli Beach just steps away, it's the perfect setting to express yourself, connect with the community, and celebrate the place we all love.

Chalk is provided—just bring your imagination!

No registration required. Drop in anytime during event hours.
