À propos
The City of Burlington public art program is launching a temporary art project, as part of Culture Days. Running from Sept. 20 to Oct. 13, Culture Days offers three weeks of arts and culture experiences indoors, outdoors and online.
The public art program is commissioning 20 artists and writers to create temporary public art signs that will be installed along the Beachway multi-use path. This outdoor exhibition will provide trail users with an accessible way to enjoy art and learn more about the amazing creators in the Burlington community. Each artwork will be accompanied with a profile of the artist.
Participating artists and writers include: Alexandra Basekic, Amal Ahmed Albaz, Angelica Lamoureux, Brunna Fanticelli de Moura, Candice Sheehan, Craig Brown, Danielle Izzard, Elena Espinoza, Elizabeth Walker, Frank Myers, Hayley Verrall, Mary Lynn Futers, Nikki Rottenberg, Nitin Narula, Pei Yuan Li, Rebecca Remme, Samantha Le Grand, Stephie Leitch, Teresa Seaton, and Vanessa Cress Lokos.
