À propos

Set along the bank of the Avon River, Stratford's Fourth Lantern Festival is a beautiful and interactive event for all ages. Participants start on Tom Patterson Island where they can donate to purchase or make a last-minute lantern at the event, you are also welcome to make and bring your own homemade lantern.

Make your way along the river, take in a puppet show and story telling. Personalize personalize Wish Lanterns to launch in the river before arriving in Lower Queen’s Park where lantern-bearers will wend their way

through the Labyrinth, meeting the seasonal guardians.

Upon leaving the Labyrinth, participants will celebrate by taking in The Wall of Light – a lantern installation created with seasonal artwork by students from local schools – where they can take and post an amazing video selfie at the new 360° Photo Booth.

An array of entertainment and spectacle awaits!

Coming from out of town? Park at the Downie Street Parking Lot and take the Lantern Festival Shuttle to the event and back!
