À propos

Step into the past at the Pierre Berton Heritage Centre and uncover the captivating history of this Kleinburg gem!

Built in 1926 by the local congregation and craftsmen, the Kleinburg United Church at 10418 Islington Avenue stands as a cherished landmark in the heart of the Village. With its striking Gothic Revival architecture, it's a recognized heritage site under the Ontario Heritage Act, listed on the City's Register, and a key part of the Kleinburg-Nashville Heritage District Conservation District.

The Pierre Berton Heritage Centre aims to provide visitors with a high-impact, immersive experience in Canadian history, and allow them to learn more about the extensive career and influential works of one of Canada’s preeminent authors and media pioneers. The main presentation hall hosts backlit inforail elements showcasing Pierre Berton’s vision on Canadian history. Combining surrounding graphic displays and high-impact 3D audio, the space engages visitors with Pierre Berton’s greatest talent for finding the stories and the drama in history.
