À propos
Sovereign House is a historic house located in Bronte. It is the second oldest house in Halton. The House was originally a one storey log cabin built by Charles Sovereign, starting in 1825. Charles Sovereign was one of the early settlers in Bronte.
This house is now managed by volunteers. The beautiful gardens are maintained by the Bronte Horticultural Society and are reminiscent of gardens from the 1910-1915 period. The exterior and grounds are managed by the Town of Oakville.
Sovereign House is open from late May until late October, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Come for an afternoon and discover a life-time of Bronte history. Our Hosts are here to welcome you
During our Culture Days we will be featuring art by local artists Carol Sanders, Barbara Eadie, Stefania Zanini, Adrienne Holbeche
Looking forward to seeing you!
