Join us on Friday, September 19 at 5:30 PM at Midtown Community Hall for a special community celebration!
We’ll kick things off with a free barbecue of hot dogs and refreshments, followed by a short program at 6:30 PM featuring the mural’s lead artist, Katie Stead, and Aaliyah from Community Building Youth Futures.
This vibrant new mural, painted in August with the help of local youth and community members, is a celebration of creativity, connection, and pride in Midtown. Come see the artwork, hear the story behind it, and celebrate the youth and neighbourhood that made it possible.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your family and friends for an evening of art, food, and fun!
