The Abbotsford Youth Commission is hosting artist Faria Firoz, who will be demonstrating the block batik printmaking process. In this engaging workshop, participants will use traditional batik stamping blocks and inks, while exploring pattern, shape and colour. The workshop will culminate in the artist-led production of a large format textile print, produced though participant collaboration. This is a free drop-in event for youth ages 12 - 18. No registration required. No experience required. All materials provided.
