Directions: Try not to drive down Mcdermot as it will be busy! We recommend leaving your car outside of the exchange, or at home all together, and walking over to our amazing venue! Entrance will be in main bar doors and cafe doors.

Illuminate At Darling is an interactive and holistic experience for Nuit Blanche 2025! Installations showcasing some of Winnipeg’s talent across many genres. One night only we are bringing 171 McDermot to life! 2 Levels of art and music, as well as performances out front from some of our local DJ talent! Not to mention great drinks and 4 bars to enjoy them at!
The night will include;
- Live performances on our main floor, presented by Breakout West
- “Running away into you” a interactive fashion show presented by A - Collective Society
- Art installations by the Winnipeg Fine Arts Fair
- DJ Performances and light installations by Timur, Steevie, and local DJ’s
- Drinks curated by the Darling bar team
- Themed Cocktail experience in the main bar
And much more!
Installations start around 6pm and run till late.
Bar opens at 5pm and runs till 2am
Music starts at 9pm till late
Food in main bar till 10pm
Late night food running till sold out!
As always everything is free to attend. We look forward to having you all experience Illuminate At Darling and to share your Nuit Blanche with us!

Darling Bar is a beautiful cocktail bar located in the Exchange District. We believe in creating a space where people can enjoy amazing cocktails and feel safe to do so. Our goal is to provide a space where art, culture and community are able to grow and flourish. We specialize in cocktails and showcasing a lot of creativity and art through this medium. A lot of our ideas for drinks come from things we've seen and experienced throughout our lives. From cultural foods to moments in time.
