À propos
The BOOK SPINE POETRY CONTEST is an annual contest run by the Saskatchewan Library Association (SLA) and hosted each fall, overlapping with Culture Days (September 20 - October 13).
What is book spine poetry? Book spine poetry occurs when a poem is created by stacking books on top of each other, with each title on the spine of a book making up a line in the poem.
The contest features four age categories: children (ages 5 to 8), children (ages 9 to 12), teens (ages 13 to 18), and adults (ages 19 and up). The winner in each age category receives a $100 Indigo gift card. The second place winner in each category receives $50 gift card, and third place a $25 gift card. This contest is open to Saskatchewan residents only.
For more information on this program, please email SLA Program Coordinator Milena Džordeski at [email protected].
