À propos
Throughout the month of Culture Days the Square Foot Exhibition will be installed at the NorVA Centre. This is part of an exciting event which culminates with an online and in person auction of the work in October. The artwork is created by local and regional artists using the confines of a square foot format. The results are varied, dramatic and even humorous.
At this time the NorVA Centre requires that the public be masked, double vaccinated plus 14 days and complete the tracing sheet. Sanitizing stations are at the doors and physical distancing is facilitated with 50% capacity for attendance.

Organisateur
Northern Visual Arts Centre (NorVA)
The NorVA Centre began in 2010 as a small seed of an idea. Since then it has become a visual arts presence in the already culturally vibrant northern community in and around Flin Flon Manitoba.
Year round the Centre offers studio and gallery space to local artists, brings in touring exhibitions, mentorships, classes and builds artist leadership.
The NorVA Centre's goals are to provide Access, Growth and Inclusion to all who wish to stretch their minds, imaginations and skills in the visual arts.
NorVA Centre respectfully acknowledges that we are in Treaty 5 Territory. The land on which we work and live is the traditional territory of the Cree, Inninnowuk, Dene, Saulteax, Oji-Cree, Anishinabe and Homeland of the Métis.
“Together, Canadians must do more than just talk about reconciliation; we must learn how to practice reconciliation in our everyday lives – within ourselves and our families, and in our communities, governments, places of worship, schools, and workplaces. To do so constructively, Canadians must remain committed to the ongoing work of establishing and maintaining respectful relationships.”
