À propos

Unconscious Bias also known as Implicit biases, are the underlying attitudes and stereotypes that people unconsciously attribute to another person or group of people that affect how they understand and engage with a person or group. Educators’ classroom needs to make sure their classroom consists of equity and diversity, so children feel truly as part of the school community. Our children unconsciously portray unconscious bias in their classroom. This video is not just raise awareness of unconscious bias but also the importance of promoting anti-bias education and the need for our children to be educated to develop positive interaction among their peers

Organisateur

Evelyne & Preeti

We are both students at York University. During this ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, we decided to do something that can educate people and promote positive interaction amongst people. we decided to do one for kids because our children are mostly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Raising awareness of unconscious biases will help make school and classrooms conducive for every child this coming academic year.
