The Downtown Acton BIA
The Downtown Acton BIA is a Business Improvement Area (BIA) located in the geographic boundary of the historical “downtown” core. They are a governing body established by the municipality (Municipal Act, 2001). They generally oversee the improvement, beautification and maintenance of municipally-owned land, buildings and structures in the area. They work to promote, stimulate, and strengthen the economy surrounding their district, and support their local community.
