Vibrant watercolour, oil, acrylic and charcoal
The desire to draw and paint has been with Dennis Novosad from an early age. Following his devotion to a growing family and career at the University of Guelph, Dennis now directs more energy and talent to the visual arts. Fine Art courses at the University of Guelph and numerous workshops have helped develop his keen sense of colour and composition. In 2005 and 2012, Dennis, lived in Australia with his wife on teacher exchanges. He used his photography talent to capture images of the varied landscapes and beautiful birds of Australia and transformed some of these images into paintings. Before departing for home, Dennis held a successful solo exhibitions in New South Wales both times, displaying his watercolours. Resuming his painting and picture framing business in Canada, Dennis has now expanded his media to acrylic, oils and charcoal. Although he keeps returning to watercolour for the challenge. Pastel is another media that he enjoys working with because of its flexibility and vibrant colours. Winning awards and having sold his paintings in Canada, United States and Australia has allowed his talents to be enjoyed by many.

Here’s your chance to get a look behind the scenes. Take a self-guided tour and meet artists where they live and work. Many artists and craftspeople will open their studios for two consecutive fall weekends.
The Studio Tour is completely free of charge. You’ll get a chance to meet directly with the artists, and often see work not shown in gallery settings. You’ll visit the working spaces of both established and emerging artists, from basements to self contained studios
