Qualicum Weavers and Spinners Guild invites you to join us in creating an “Oceans of Opportunity” Community Tapestry.

People of all ages and abilities are invited to drop into the Qualicum Beach Regional Library on September 18th, 19th, and 20th to create community together by participating in the "Oceans of Opportunity" collaborative weaving project. Bring your creative thoughts and ideas and join others in building this common project.

Materials are supplied and participants will create the evolution of the finished piece.

Diane Moran is a retired Recreation Leader II practicing Visual Artist and community connector residing in Qualicum Beach. She has been involved in public and community arts for over 30 years. Her mandate and vision. Create and connect others to the arts with meaningful engagement and public awareness projects. Sometimes focused on humanitarian efforts, environmental awareness, conservation education, and mental health advocacy.
