À propos

A Talking Circle is a traditional way for Indigenous and Métis people to discuss and solve problems. It is an effective way to remove barriers and allow people to express themselves with complete freedom. We will be addressing one of two topics.

What does Truth and Reconciliation mean to you? or What does it mean to you to be aboriginal? After the talking circle you can make your very own talking stick.

Val Daniels is a Métis artist who began her spiritual work about 15 years ago to help her discover her past and help her heal. She is a pyrographer, beading and jewelry artist, hosts women’s drum circles, and talking stick circles.

Organisateur

St. Albert Cultivates the Arts Society

As a community-based volunteer group, our purpose as the St. Albert Cultivates the Arts Society is to encourage the citizens of St. Albert (and the region) to discover, experience and celebrate the creative endeavours of local artists and performers during Alberta Culture Days, scheduled annually in September.
