À propos
"Works in Progress" is a 618 ARTlington event with market, gallery, breakout sessions, and in-studio demos.
Studios, hallways, and gallery spaces throughout our historic building will be active with artists creating, displaying, and sharing their work. Visitors can explore the building at their own pace, stopping in to watch live studio demonstrations and browse the pieces the artists have available for sale.
Room 2-2 will host hourly breakout sessions led by different artists, offering visitors a chance to sit down and rest while learning something new.
The second-floor gallery will feature a curated group exhibition by Danielle Fontaine Koslowsky and Rye Leeside. The show brings together work from current studio artists alongside a special piece by esteemed former 618 ARTlington artist, Bev Pike.
In addition to our 20 studio artists, we're also hosting returning artists and a few guest vendors to honor our history while celebrating ARTlington's next chapter. Under new ownership this year, we'll see new studios in the basement and fourth floor soon, with some of the newly-renovated space available to check out at this event. The building and our community are like paintings on an easel or pottery on the wheel: Works in Progress.
Please note, 618 ARTlington is a heritage building and is, unfortunately, not wheelchair accessible. There is a half-flight of stairs to the main floor.

Organisateur
618 ARTlington Studios
With 21 art studios throughout 3 floors, 618 ARTlington Studios provides beautiful space for nearly 30 Winnipeg artists over a variety of disciplines. Renovated with passion using reclaimed materials, eclectic antiques and a unique design approach, this historic building was completely transformed into stunning art studios in 2010. Under new ownership, the building will begin opening new space in the basement and fourth floor by the end of 2025, while continuing to focus on being a hub of creativity, collaboration, and inspiration.
