The North Vancouver Community Players want you to experience the magic of live theatre. Members of our theatre club will take you backstage at Hendry Hall in North Vancouer to discover and explore community theatre. Learn a bit about the activities at Hendry Hall and its long history as a landmark in North Vancouver from 1942. Take a tour of the theatre - view creative set building and decorating, costumes and props, possibly try a reading. An opportunity to talk to directors, actors, backstage hands, set designers and others who work to create our live productions. Hear some of the hysterical goings on of live theatre and dare-we-say "occasional" bloopers. Ever wondered if you have what it takes to participate in live theatre - come and find out. If you love theatre, or are even a novice, come and join us as we participate in the North Shore Culture Days on Saturday, September 28th, 2 to 5 pm

The Theatre at Hendry Hall is the home of The North Vancouver Community Players. We are a volunteer non-profit organization and we produce 5 full length plays each season (September to June), as well as a pantomime for children in December. Our members plan the play season, direct, produce, design, build, search out props and make costumes for each production. More information on the season is available on our website northvanplayers.ca We welcome newcomers and mentor volunteers in every area of theatre activity. Come out and join us for a great experience.
