Explore the voices and stories of the women that came to the Lincoln area in the early 1800s. Historically overlooked, these women share an experience that is now being uncovered and explored.

Join Mary Lou Garr, as she discusses the important role of women in Lincoln in the 1800s, and the lives they led. With information gleaned from diaries, letters and other archives, Invisible Pioneers presents the stories of the people who were left out of official records.

Presented by the Friends of Lincoln’s History.

Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre

The Town of Lincoln's Museum and Cultural Centre is currently located at an interim facility on one of Lincoln’s Heritage Properties in Beamsville. While a new Museum is built on the former site of the Jordan Historical Museum, the temporary location continues programming, exhibits, lectures, and special events. Statement of Purpose: To preserve the history of the area through collections and research, and to interpret it to the community, recognizing the museum’s responsibilities as a source of education, research, recreation, and human resources.
