Directions: The 7pm performance will start from the corner of Esplanade and Berkeley St. The show will travel East. The 9pm performance will start from the corner of Esplanade and Lower Jarvis. The show will travel West.

Hisia in an invitation to 8 artists to explore the emotional roller coaster of the past six months, since lockdown was imposed. Fear, surprise, sadness, disgust, anger, anticipation, joy and trust expressed through words, movement, imagery, sound, visual and experiential arts: a delight to the senses. A series of personal statements within the frame of a common journey. We invite you to take this journey with us.

7pm: Starts at Berkeley and Esplanade. Travels West on Esplanade.
9pm: Starts at Lower Jarvis and Esplanade. Travels East on Esplanade.

Since 2011, The Esplanade – one of downtown Toronto’s most diverse communities – has been enlivened by the local arts group Jamii (Swahili for "community"). Through the production of over 120 memorable arts-based experiences that recognize and celebrate all people and genders while nurturing female leadership, Jamii strengthens community and lifts spirits.
