À propos

Visit Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre to view the Oakville Camera Club's annual exhibition, Capture Oakville 2023/24, in the corridors.

The Capture Oakville Photography Competition is the Club’s annual competition, which is open to OCC Members and the broader community in Ontario. This flagship event was first hosted as a Print Exhibition in 2007.

OCC is unique as it is the only formal club in Oakville promoting the photographic arts within our community. Photography today is more popular than ever, and more accessible to everyone. From film to an Android phone to an iPhone to a point-and-shoot, to a full DSLR, we welcome everyone with any type of camera. OCC provides a forum for amateur and enthusiast photographers to develop their artistic skills and creativity and a means to measure their skills and progress through competitions.

This competition is open to everyone in the community, and the Gala Awards event draws a huge crowd from the arts community, politicians, and other community leaders.
