We are excited to launch during Culture Days, a NEW VIDEO SERIES produced by the Mission Community Archives called MISSION MOMENTS. One minute in length, each video highlights a story from the community’s storied past. This premiere video in the series features the origins of Dewdney which is believed was first settled in 1867.

The Archives serves local residents and the global community by acquiring, preserving, maintaining, documenting and making available for public research records of archival value to the District of Mission and the Fraser Valley Regional District Electoral Areas. Archivist Val Billesberger believes that key to carrying out to archives' mandate is to engage the public by showcasing Mission’s storied past through its online presence, public programs and community partnerships.
