Join us for a night of Swing 101 workshops and social dancing with live band as part of the Dance Together Festival York Region! Open to all ages/levels/abilities.
6:30 pm Welcome + Swing 101 Lesson with Vicky and Simon of Swing Toronto
7:30 pm Live Music and dancing with the Pepper Shakers (in the Studios)
8:30 pm Swing 101 Lesson (in the Studios)

The Pepper Shakers are one of the premier 3-piece rock & roll party bands in the Greater Toronto Area... 1100+ performances to audiences of all sizes and ages since 2013. With their huge repertoire of rockin, swingin' hits that span the decades. Hank, Paul and Dom have been known to light up the dance floor wherever they play.
All festival workshops and events are free for participants, thanks to the generous support of the Host in Vaughan Grant and Richmond Hill Community and Cultural Grant Program. Presented by the Dance Together Project in partnership with York Region Arts Council, Assembly Park VMC, City of Vaughan, City of Richmond Hill and Richmond Hill Public Library.

Dance Together Project is about nurturing human connection and building community through dance. We offer exceptionally fun and inclusive dance programs for adults with a mission to facilitate enjoyable and engaging dance experiences for everybody, regardless of skill level or variations in physical ability. We also collaborate with diverse artists to create interactive performances and produce the annual Dance Together Festival.
