À propos

Community members have been knitting and crocheting squares which will be assembled into panels by other community members. The panels will be hung on the bridge in Aboyne, ON (between Fergus and Elora on County Road 18). Installation is on Sept 21st and will be in place until Oct 15. Once removed, the panels will be disassembled into small blankets and donated to local cat shelters and the Guelph Humane Society.

Organisateur

String Theory Yarn Shop

String Theory Yarn Shop is a welcoming space for all yarn enthusiasts to connect with each other and share their love of their favourite yarn crafts. Inclusiveness of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, political view, socio-economic status, body types, or abilities is of utmost importance to me. If you love yarn and fibre arts, you are welcome! The shop has a large "sit and stitch" and learning area at the front and all the glorious yarns in the back. Community involvement and connection is at the core of the store values. Several community projects and fundraisers have been completed over the last 3 years in business. Some past projects are: Rainbow Love Shawl fundraiser for Guelph Pride; Skeins for Ukraine and silent auction for Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Relief Fun; Mini Hat Ornaments sale for Food Bank; and knit/crocheted "nests" for orphaned wildlife for Guelph Humane Society.
