Terry will paint with encaustic medium. This is an ancient medium. It’s a mixture of beeswax, tree resin and pigment. Encaustic is worked in a molten state and each layer is fused to its underlying layer with a heat tool. Terry favours a blow torch. This will be a fascinating demonstration. Terry’s work is an eclectic mix of encaustic mixed media pieces.

The Elora Fergus Studio Tour has been operating for 38 years as a free, annual event to celebrate the abundance of exceptional artists living and working in Centre Wellington. Each artist is juried in by an esteemed panel of experienced artists, and we allow a maximum of 40 participants. We advertise our tour in major cities within a 2 hour radius of Centre Wellington.
