Our workshop will focus on teaching the basics of rhythm and teamwork to all ages through bucket drumming and body percussion. Led by percussionists and music instructors, participants will learn how to hold drumsticks and play different patterns together as a group. All materials will be provided and setup is quick and easy. Participants will follow the instructor in a series of call and response exercises, will learn the different sounds that can be made on as simple an instrument as a bucket and will then be able to come up with their own rhythms and songs. The event will be outside and will be socially distanced.
