Organisateur
Sault Ste. Marie Museum
The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is a non-profit, charitable organization facilitated by the Sault Ste. Marie & 49th Field Regiment R.C.A. Historical Society for the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie and the District of Algoma, as well as visitors to the community. A management Board of Directors oversees the operation of the Museum.
We are committed to preserving and sharing local history, arts and culture. Our many displays, exhibits, and programs offer fun and educational opportunities for engaging folks of all ages and backgrounds. We regularly host exhibits and events by local and visiting artists, musicians, and authors. Our site is also home to the Algoma Weaver's Guild, and community arts organization the ArtSpeaks Project. Recently, we initiated an artist-in-residence program aimed at diversifying our collection and better representing our culturally diverse community and history.
