Organisateur

Thunder Bay Public Library

Thunder Bay Public Library (TBPL) was established in 1970 when the two cities (Fort William and Port Arthur) amalgamated. The mission of TBPL is to serve as facilitators for the needs of our community. We partner with our community and strive to meet everyone’s needs for research, creativity, entertainment and support services. It is our core purpose to ensure that everyone can access the resources and services they need to learn, express themselves creatively, and reach their full potential.

Our libraries are built upon the traditional territories of the Fort William First Nation (Animkii Wajiw), signatory to the Robinson Superior of 1850. We also recognize the contributions made to our community by the Métis people.
