The Elora Fergus Studio tour begins September 28th to the 29th, 2024, it will coincides with Ontario Culture Days.

Members of the Guelph Sculpture Group will be displaying their abstract and figurative sculptures on the first weekend of the Elora Fergus Studio Tour. Several artists will be showing their sculptures in various media including, ceramic and mixed media. Every day there will be a demonstration of clay creations.

The Neighbourhood Sculpture Garden is located on a farm south of Belwood, that includes beautiful landscaping and sculptures that are situated in the studios and throughout the garden.

Currently, the artists exhibiting are; Rosalinde Baumgartner, Deborah Patterson and Holly Atkinson.

Holly is working from her studio in Guelph. Her sculptures are ceramic, mixed media and bronze , abstract and figurative in style. Hope you will drop by Rosalinde's beautiful garden to see many artist's work.

The open hours are September 28th and 29th: 10:00 to 5:00

I am an artist that works in my studio year round. This year I have invited members of the GUELPH SCULPTURE GROUP to help me create a Neighbourhood Sculpture Garden during the Elora Fergus Studio Tour. Holly Atkinson, Deborah Patterson, Mary Murphy, Michelle McCarthy, Laurie McGraw, Cindy Jenkins, Elsie Tencate and Ausma Davidson will show their work.

We hope you will come and help us celebrate this unique event. We will be happy to tell you about the process of creating the different works of art. I will have a piece started and will be demonstrating how to build with what Arthur Gonzalez calls The Inside Out method. It enables you to create sculptural forms by pushing the clay out from the inside and in from the outside.
