We will be celebrating the collaboration between the City of Lacombe Art Collection and students Tessa Potts and Eileen Firingstoney of Mamawi Atosketan Native School through the unveiling of a new sculpture titled "Miweyihtowin". Miweyihtowin means "affinity for one another" in Cree.

Join us to learn more about the sculpture, meet the artists, and watch world renowned dancer Kevin Buffalo and others as they perform the Chicken Dance, which represents the grouse in action.

The sculpture has been installed on the berm at the north west corner near the traffic circle by Royal Oaks (Terrace Ridge Drive & C&E Trail).

Parking is available at the pump house behind the sculpture. We recommend that families and individuals ride their bicycles, or walk if possible as parking will be limited. Please physically distance yourselves
