À propos

As we welcome you to Sovereign House, you will be treated to a self-guided tour of one of Oakville’s oldest houses, built by Charles Sovereign in the early 1800’s. You will have the opportunity to learn about the early industries of Bronte and tour the house where Mazo de la Roche, one of Canada’s most renowned romance novelists, and her family stayed from 1911 to 1915. You will be asked to sign in with your name and telephone number for contact tracing. Hand sanitizer and spare masks will be available for those that may forget. We will be limiting the number of visitors to 25 at a time in the house. Doors and windows will be open for ventilation, where possible.
