Directions: Look for the yellow wooden fish. They will be installed throughout the grassy areas near the Qualicum Beach Visitor Center. A tent/shelter will be set up for inclement weather. This is an OUTDOOR event on the ocean so dress for the weather of the day and season. Limited parking near the Visitor Center.

“A Story of Beach Creek and Other Fish Tales” Celebrate Salmon and streams through this artistic display. "The Art of Nurturing Nature" is something to celebrate on BC and World Rivers Day September 24, 2023. Hand painted wooden salmon will be on display near the Qualicum Beach Visitors Centre. This event will feature a hands-on paper fish decorating activity. All ages welcome.

She has been active in the arts for over 30 years and was Culture Days South Island ambassador in 2018 from Sooke to Port Renfrew.
