Did you know that since the 1970s, Winnipeg has had a small (but dedicated, and very tasteful) group of people known as the Winnipeg Early Music Society (WEMS)? We are the ones who throw ourselves into the music of the baroque, renaissance and medieval periods, and in ensembles both large and small, play this timeless music both in private and public settings. To come and see what we are about, drop in and see our display (complete with live music, of course) in the Grant Park shopping mall on Saturday, September 28. Just follow your ears!
