Varnam: Colors of South India is a celebration of the vibrant and diverse cultural traditions of South India, brought to life in the heart of Canada. This unique event will feature live performances by talented artists, offering a glimpse into the authentic art forms that reflect the rich heritage of the southern states.

From expressive movement to captivating storytelling, each performance will highlight the depth and beauty of South Indian culture. In addition, interactive booths will provide guests with opportunities to learn more about the origins, meaning, and evolution of these traditions. Whether you're discovering it for the first time or reconnecting with your roots, Varnam offers an engaging, inclusive experience for all ages.

Regina Malayalee Association is delighted to collaborate with Tamil Regina Sangam, Telugu Association of Regina, Regina Kannada Koota, Nrityati Performing Arts, A V Studio, Mudra Traditional Dance Academy, and Noopura Dance Academy in bringing this colorful celebration to life.

The Regina Malayalee Association (RMA) is a vibrant, not-for-profit cultural organization representing the Malayalee (Keralite) community in Regina, Saskatchewan. Founded with the goal of preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Kerala, RMA serves as a platform for cultural exchange, community engagement, and youth empowerment.

Through a wide range of events and initiatives—including festivals, educational programs, sports, and community service—RMA brings together families and individuals who share a common interest in celebrating South Indian culture and values. The association also plays an active role in fostering inclusivity and multicultural harmony within the broader Canadian society.
