Admission to the Thunder Bay Art Gallery during Culture Days is pay what you can.

The Gallery is committed to accessibility throughout the year with $5 admission fees and free admission Wednesdays thanks to support from the John Andrews Foundation.

Want to make sure others can enjoy the same exciting experiences at the Gallery anytime? Leave a donation for our Art Share program which makes sure we never have to turn away curious visitors. Through the generous support of our community, visitors, and funders we can continue providing accessible engaging programming that inspires everyone.

… reaches over 4,000 school age children through in person curriculum linked tours and hands-on learning opportunities.

… engages over 1,000 students in the region and beyond through a virtual school tour program.

… documents and records our culture, with over 1,600 works of art forming one of the most extensive collections of contemporary Indigenous and regional art held in trust for the community.

… expands the influence of artists and loans artwork to other museums and galleries including the National Gallery of Canada and the Smithsonian Institute.

… welcomes up to 20,000 visitors each year including residents as well as national and international tourists.

… hosts artist talks, lectures, demonstrations, and dialog sessions including hybrid livestreamed events.
